The Kingdom We Create
Professional Development for School Culture Transformation
Professional Development for School Culture Transformation
Every school is a kingdom. Every kingdom has a culture. And every culture is being created — whether you're building it on purpose or not.
The Kingdom We Create is a professional development experience for schools ready to move past managing behavior and start building culture — intentionally, together, from the classroom to the front office.
This isn't another "trauma-informed" buzzword training. It's a hands-on framework for the reality every educator already knows: outcomes happen through relationship, and relationship is inherently messy. Good days and bad days — even when everyone is showing up faithfully.
This PD is built on my own framework — a four-part method for seeing, shifting, and rebuilding school culture from the inside out.
DISCOVER — See the culture you already have. We start with a Cultural Mirror activity that surfaces what's really happening in your building, not just what's on paper.
DECIDE — Choose the culture you want. Staff build a Kingdom Constitution together — 3 to 5 concrete behavioral commitments everyone can actually hold each other to.
DESTROY — Dismantle the stuck patterns and survival behaviors that keep culture stuck, without dismantling the people who developed them. This includes honest work on owning our own triggers.
DESIGN — Build the practices, rituals, and systems that carry your desired culture forward, using five pillars: Regulate, Connect, Predict, Teach, Repair.
This PD is built for whole-building teams — administrators, teachers, and support staff at the same table. Culture isn't created by one role or department; it's created (or eroded) by everyone in the building, together. Families are part of that ecosystem too, not the problem to be managed.
If your school is burnt-out, under-resourced, or stuck reacting to behavior instead of building relationship — this is where we start.
This isn't a sit-and-listen training. Every session includes hands-on application:
The Kingdom Lab — working through real school scenarios, shifting the question from "what consequence should this student receive" to "what does this relationship need."
The Cultural Mirror — an honest look at the culture your school already has.
The Kingdom Constitution — building shared, concrete commitments as a staff.
The Kingdom We Create can be delivered in the format that fits your school's schedule and depth of need:
A single 3-hour session
A full 4-hour intensive
Two 2-hour sessions (the 4-hour intensive, split across two sittings)
For schools ready to go further than a single training, I'm developing an ongoing implementation offering — The Kingdom We Are Becoming — to help staff actually live out the culture they build together, long after the workshop ends.
