If you're here, chances are you've already been in therapy before. You've read the books, done the journaling, maybe even had a breakthrough or two. You know your patterns. What you're looking for now isn't someone to introduce you to the basics — it's someone who can sit across from you, reflect back what you can't see from inside your own story, and help you actually do something with what you already know.
That's the work we do together.
I call what I do "theracoaching" — because healing that only lives in the talking chair doesn't always make it into your Tuesday. My sessions are grounded in clinical practice, but they don't stop at insight. We name it, we feel it, and then we figure out what it looks like in your actual life — your relationships, your work, your body, your next decision.
Some things you can count on when you work with me:
A mirror, not a lecture. I'm not here to tell you who to be. I'm here to reflect back the patterns, blind spots, and truths you already carry but can't always see from where you're standing.
Evidence-based, not one-note. I draw from Narrative Therapy, IFS, ACT, CBT, and more, depending on what you actually need session to session — not a script I run on everyone.
Depth with direction. We go where the feeling is, and we don't stay there without a plan. If you leave a session with a good cry and no next step, I haven't done my job.
Room for Spirit. However you connect to something bigger than yourself, there's space for that here. This isn't a religious practice, but it's not one that ignores the sacred either.
Softness that doesn't flinch. I'll hold you gently and tell you the truth. Both, always, at the same time.
My clients are Black women who are ready — not just curious, ready — to stop circling the same conversation and start building something different. Many of you have already done the early work of therapy elsewhere. You're not looking to be introduced to your feelings; you're looking for someone who can help you finally do something with them.
Many of the women I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, burnout, or the quiet feeling of being stuck — even when their lives look fine from the outside.
I want the practical stuff to be just as clear as everything else.
